The brief was for a generous family home that still felt intimate day to day, on a deep block framed by established trees.
We organised the house around a central courtyard, so every room borrows light and outlook from the garden while staying private from the street.
Generous, but never grand.
A restrained palette of brick, spotted gum and concrete lets the landscape do the talking.
