The existing home held a beautiful street presence but turned its back on the garden, with dark service rooms cut off from the light.

Our work restores the original rooms and adds a quiet contemporary pavilion to the rear — a single calm move that draws the family's daily life toward the north and the garden beyond.

A new wing that knows when to be quiet.

Materials are kept few and honest: lime-washed walls, timber joinery, and brass detailing left to patina over time.
